A Historic Miniature Wargame Conference

Join history and wargaming enthusiasts in the first Army Game Day hosted by The Army Historical Foundation at the National Museum of the United States Army on January 25, 2025.

Registration is FREE, but includes options to pre-purchase box lunches for $20 each.

All game options, including half and full day, are listed below. Please read the descriptions for times, scale, rules, and age restrictions.

This game simulates World War I Trench Warfare. Specifically, the situation is to rescue a downed pilot in no-man’s land.

This game simulates the events on January 9, 1944, during the Battle of the Bulge, when Captain Charles A. Gates led the 761st Tank Battalion against German defenses.

Description: July 7th, 1944

This game simulate actions in July 1944 when the 117th U.S. Army Regiment crosses the Vire River in attempts to liberate the town of St. Fromond.

This game simulates action following the liberation of Carentan, France on June 12, 1944. Following the town’s liberation, the 506th PIR 101st Airborne was ordered to establish a line of defense south of the city near the village of Douville.

In this game, Company E of the 506th PIR must withstand German assault until the U.S. 2nd Armored Division arrives with reinforcements.

This game simulates the events on July 1, 1983, the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg. Players will represent either the Army of Northern Virginia or the Army of the Potomac.

This game simulates the U.S. Army’s reconnaissance to locate the North Vietnamese in attempts to cut off the supplies being transported down the Ho Chi Min Trail. This game will involve searching for underground tunnel systems, weapons and food caches, and disarming booby traps.
