Blain Brothers and Oaks Brothers
Our brick honors our family members of the Greatest Generation: my father and two of his brothers, plus a brother-in-law (pictured), and my wife’s father and five of his brothers, all of whom served in the Army in World War II. My wife also had two other uncles who served in the Navy. That’s a total of twelve brave young men who answered their country’s call at a time of great need. Fortunately, they all returned. We have visited many military cemeteries in the U.S. and Europe, and know that many other families were not so lucky. We are happy and grateful to have the opportunity to help remember the sacrifices of all who served.
