New Tech to Improve Donor and Registry Experience

The Army Historical Foundation has invested in technology innovations that will modernize the donor experience and give a fresh look to the Registries of the American Soldier, Army Community and Service Animals. The Foundation’s website along with the Registries have been upgraded to include a better search function and make it easier to support the campaign. Users will soon be able to manage all of their donor activities and Registry profiles from one account.

Current and Future Donors

Donors have the option to create an online account through ArmyHistory.org that allows them to pledge contributions, make payments, track gifts, update billing information, and change the schedule of contributions. By simply entering an email and password, donors will be brought to a secure webpage that displays all this information and the options for making edits. The goal is to put more control in the hands of our donors and allow them to easily manage their support of the Foundation.

Interested in these new features? Keep an eye out for when these changes are live. Both new and existing donors will have to visit ArmyHistory.org to create a new login. Even if you currently have a login, you will need to create a new one to be officially moved to the new platform. The process will be straightforward and easy to understand. It will be similar to accounts you have created for other websites.

Not comfortable using an online account? That’s okay. Donors will still be able to make gifts to the Foundation without making an online profile through the donation webpage or via postal mail: National Museum of the United States Army, PO Box 96281, Washington, DC 20090-6281.

A New Look for Registries

The Registry of the American Soldier and its companion registries for Army families, civilians and service animals are receiving a significant upgrade in both their design and functionality. Everything will be improved, including how registry profiles are displayed, the process of creating a profile, and a user’s ability to edit and update a profile page.

Do you have an existing Registry profile? All existing profiles will automatically receive the redesign. All the information and photos will be converted. No need to take any action!

Want to update a Registry profile, or create a new one? Once our upgrades are complete, users will have to visit the Registries page on our website to create a new online account. Once your account is created, you will be able to view, edit, and create Registry profiles.

Your Registry account and donor account will be the same. Through this upgrade, users will be able to manage and track their donor activities and Registry profiles, all from one page. Look for online announcements with more information soon!
