On Memorial Day, it’s customary to spend time remembering and honoring the men and women who died while in the military service of our country. Share in the National Army Museum’s first Memorial Day and create new memories and traditions at this special venue dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of American Soldiers.
Over Memorial Day weekend, the Museum and along with The Army Historical Foundation will be providing a variety of activities on site and welcome you to plan your special visit to the Museum.
A special highlight, The Army Historical Foundation is hosting a special documentary screening. Sunken Roads: Three Generations After D-Day” documentary by filmmaker Charlotte Juergens follows a group of World War II veterans who return to Normandy for the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
Join us in Veterans’ Hall for scheduled showings throughout the weekend and sessions to discuss the documentary with the filmmakers. Registration required. Learn more and register here.
