In this event for AHF members, The Army Historical Foundation invites you to enjoy a screening of the 2019 documentary “The Six Triple Eight” by Lincoln Penny Films. The film focuses on the 6888 Central Postal Directory Battalion, which was the first all-female multi-ethnic unit of the U.S. Women’s Army Corps deployed to Europe to clear the backlog of mail in England and France to help Soldiers’ morale. Their motto was “No Mail, Low Morale.”

Following the documentary will be a descendants panel with descendants of the women who served in the 6888 moderated by MSG Elizabeth Helm-Frazier (U.S. Army – Ret.) who was part of the efforts to secure the Congressional Gold Medal for the 6888 in 2021.
